Sarah Wall is the Special Projects Coordinator at the American Legislative Exchange Council, executing advocacy and communications campaigns in support of the President of ALEC Action and the Chief Marketing Officer. In coordination with Public Affairs and Legislator Engagement, Sarah develops strategies and tactics to reach a broad base of public officials, private enterprises, and members of the media to further promote our members’ priorities.
Prior to her role at ALEC, Sarah conducted voter outreach and persuasion efforts on political campaigns with Young Americans for Liberty in Ohio and Kentucky. She was previously a Government Relations Manager at a Baltimore nonprofit, where she spearheaded state-level legislative efforts in Maryland related to criminal justice reform through coalition-building, legislator engagement, and communications outreach programs. Her role in Operations at Morgan Stanley further developed her quantitative analytical skills and superior client service. Sarah is a 2020 graduate from The George Washington University, graduating summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Political Management. In 2016, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts from The College of William & Mary, double majoring in History and Russian and Post-Soviet Studies.
Sarah is a proud Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach and currently residing in the Northern Virginia area. In her spare time, her favorite activities include hiking the trails around the DMV, cooking dinner for large groups of friends (preferably in the summer on a back deck), and planning every logistical detail of her next vacation in her quest to visit every state in the US.
