Biography
Nicole Murphy is the Public Affairs Coordinator for ALEC. A San Diego, California native, Nicole traded in the ocean air for the political arena of Washington D.C. With a true passion for Communications and Public Affairs, Nicole adds to the fabric of ALEC with her own vivacious style.
Nicole earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. BOILER UP! Upon graduation, she ventured back out to California where she worked as a Marketing Representative for Lincoln Financial Group.
After some soul searching and countless conversations with her family, Nicole set her sights on the Nation’s Capital and she is thrilled to be a part of the Public Affairs team at ALEC. Nicole is also currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
Moving from California to Indiana and on to Washington D.C., Nicole loves a good adventure. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring great places to eat, and oddly enough, cleaning and organizing. She will stop to pet any dog she sees, loves the Pacific Ocean more than anything, and is an avid Orangetheory Fitness goer.
