Information

Biography

Montana has an extensive background in non-profit work specializing in human services and children’s rights. She began pursuing these interests by working with a social services non-profit organization in underdeveloped parts of Mexico and Bali. She then worked as a pre-school teacher while getting her degree in human services at Old Dominion University. She finished out her undergraduate career with an internship in Panama to support underprivileged children.

Montana has always had a passion for advancing free markets and put that passion to good use at ALEC as an intern for the Public Affairs department and now serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO, Lisa Nelson. She loves being involved with such a positive and impactful organization that brings together the public and private sector to create change and exchange innovative ideas.

Montana grew up in the Northern VA/D.C. area, and when she’s not in the office helping to fight for limited government and free markets, you can find her in the kitchen baking or traveling.
