Kirti Nuthi

Coordinator, Individual Engagement

Biography

Kirti is the Individual Engagement Coordinator at ALEC, growing both the individual donor program and the digital audience. Prior to joining ALEC, Kirti worked with City Year Los Angeles in campus recruitment and wrote grants for women’s economic cooperatives in Nepal. She got her start in Washington DC as an immigration policy intern at the Cato Institute.

While a New Jersey native, Kirti studied on the opposite side of the country, graduating from the University of California, San Diego with her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science, International Relations. During her time at UCSD, Kirti was a stage manager and an events coordinator for multiple theatrical projects and events on and off campus.

Kirti traded the sunny beaches of San Diego for the London fog, completing her Master’s in International Public Policy from University College London in 2018.

Having called multiple states (and countries) home, Kirti loves to explore and see the world. In her free time, especially in the summer, Kirti can be found at the park, on the hiking trail or at the beach. She loves Shakespeare festivals more than any other kind of theater but also has a soft spot for a good musical.
