Biography

John Eick serves as the Director of the ALEC Energy, Environment and Agriculture Task Force, where he works with state lawmakers, policy experts and business leaders to develop free-market solutions to state energy, regulatory and agriculture challenges.

Prior to joining ALEC in 2012, John worked in the General Assembly and for several free-market oriented think tanks in North Carolina. John is a 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.A. in political science and public policy.

When not promoting the principles of free market environmentalism, John is likely keeping up with his beloved Tar Heels on the basketball court, football gridiron or baseball diamond.
