We look forward to hosting our 43rd ALEC Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana!
Indianapolis is the largest city in Indiana as well as the second-largest city in the Midwest. It also happens to be within eight-hours driving distance for 50% of the population of the United States. Indianapolis is largely known for hosting several notable sporting events annually, including the largest half marathon in the U.S. and the largest single-day sporting event in the world, the Indianapolis 500. The cars competing in the latter race are known as IndyCars as a reference to the event. As headquarters for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the city frequently hosts the Men’s and Women’s basketball tournaments.


  • Early-bird Registration will open April 4, 2016 and end on June 1, 2016.
  • Standard Registration will begin on June 2, 2016 and end on July 5, 2016.
  • On-site pricing will begin on July 6, 2016.

Registration Policies

  • Spouse/Guest Registration

Spouse/guest registration is meant to accommodate legal spouses and immediate family members. Attendees from the same organization must register independently. No exceptions will be made. Spouse/guest designation will be clearly visible on name badge.

  • Registration Confirmation Information

Online registrants will receive immediate email confirmation. If registering by form, confirmation will be emailed within 72 hours of receipt of payment.

  • Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy

Registrations cancelled prior to 5:00 PM EST July 5, 2016 are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Registrations are non-refundable after 5:00 PM EST July 5, 2016. All refund requests must be made in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Registration fees may be transferred from one registrant to another. Please send a transfer request in writing via email to [email protected].
