We miss you! Join us as we come together in-person for the 48th ALEC Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah from July 28 – 30! We are working to increase freedom across our states with a continued focus on ensuring safety, building our communities and strengthening our society for a safer America. Now is the time to protect our rights and freedom when faced with adversity and challenges that question our individual liberty. Your state needs innovative policy solutions and there is no better place to explore those solutions than the ALEC Annual Meeting. This meeting will include many of the beautiful outdoor spaces Utah has to offer along with space for all to feel comfortable and safe within the venue. For those of you unable to join us in-person, we are working on a solution that will allow you to join us for select sessions online. In whatever way you are able to join us, we are excited to have you!
The ALEC Annual Meeting is the premier meeting of policymakers committed to free enterprise and individual liberty. State legislators, elected local officials and public policy experts gather to discuss and address major state policy issues, participate in interactive and immersive learning experiences and connect with peers and industry experts from across the states.
Registration for the ALEC 48th Annual Meeting is now open! Please use the “Register Now” button on the right to register.
Early-bird registration rates will end on June 2, 2021.
Standard registration rates will begin June 3, 2021 and end on June 30, 2021.
The group rate for the host hotel ends June 30, 2021.
To reserve a room at the Grand America, please register for the 48th ALEC Annual Meeting. Once your registration is approved, you will receive a registration confirmation email with a link to book your room. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until sold out.

On-site registration rates will begin on July 1, 2021.

Guest / Spouse Registration
Guest / Spouse registration is meant to accommodate legal spouses and immediate family members ONLY. No exceptions will be made. Guest / Spouse designation will be clearly visible on name badge.
Registration Process and Payment Methods
Conference registration for the ALEC Annual Meeting will not be confirmed until the registration process has been completed and the payment has been received and processed.
In accordance with our policies, we review all registrations. This review policy ensures registrants have selected the most appropriate registration option. You will receive notification of registration status within three (3) business days. Your payment will not be processed until your registration is accepted. Payment amount may be adjusted to reflect the correct registration type and fees associated.
The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) cannot be responsible for your spam filters blocking your confirmation email. Please check for a confirmation email before committing to travel arrangements.
Accommodation costs are not included in the conference registration fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. The ALEC group rate at the Grand America is $269/night. To reserve a room at the Grand America, please register for the ALEC Annual Meeting. Cancellation / Refund Policy
Registrations cancelled prior to 11:59 PM EST June 30, 2021 are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Registrations are non-refundable after 11:59 PM EST June 30, 2021.
Exhibit booths or tables cancelled prior to 11:59 PM EST June 30, 2021 are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the rate paid. Registrations are non-refundable after 11:59 PM EST June 30, 2021.
To cancel, go to the registration site and click Already Registered? Enter the email used to register and the confirmation number found on the confirmation email. Then click the UNREGISTER button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions to confirm the cancellation.
A refund will automatically be issued based on the policy above. Please allow 2-7 business days to process depending on the respective bank.
Please contact Madison Crawley with any questions on refunds or substituting your registration. Registration substitutions will not be allowed once the attendee has checked in to the event.

ALEC is a forum for stakeholders to exchange ideas and develop real, state-based solutions to encourage growth, preserve economic security and protect hardworking taxpayers. ALEC members understand the importance of hearing from all sides of an issue and value public-private partnership in policy discussions. In order to foster an environment where all sides can be heard, you must speak in a civil manner when presenting at or attending ALEC meetings and not disparage members and organizations that belong to ALEC.
By completing the registration, you understand that you may be photographed, taped or recorded. You grant permission for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) to use your image or voice in all forms and media as permitted by law. You waive the right to inspect or approve versions of your image or voice or the written copy that may be used in connection with either.
