ALEC Special Presentation: Kemp Forum on Expanding Opportunity, A Project of the Center for Education Reform and the Jack Kemp Foundation

Description

The legacy of Jack Kemp and his commitment to the empowerment of people to improve their lives without government micromanagement cannot be understated. From housing to education, Kemp envisioned a path to upward mobility where people would have the dignity of making their own choices to guide their paths. Today, a partnership between Center for Education Reform (CER) and the Jack Kemp Foundation (JKF) is enabling a new generation to actualize the Kemp vision on expanding opportunity through education.

This year’s opening reception will feature a special Kemp Forum on Expanding Opportunity, and will bring together national, state and local leaders to have substantive discussions, to impact public consciousness and provide useful tools for ALEC members and supporters to take back to their own communities. Led by CER founder Jeanne Allen and JKF president Jimmy Kemp, this interactive event will feature Indiana Governor Mike Pence alongside yet to be announced congressional leadership, state leaders and local heroes in shaping upward mobility through education opportunity.

Further announcements will be made on speakers in the coming days. Seating is limited to the first 400. Please RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible.
