ALEC STATE LEADERS CALL: SENATE HEALTHCARE PROPOSAL

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) invites you to join Members of Congress and state leaders for a conference call tomorrow, Wednesday, June 28.

The Better Care Reconciliation Act has many features that will both affect and empower states. The conference call will be lead by a member of the U.S. Senate to provide details on how this legislation will effect individuals in our Districts and to provide a forum for federal legislators to answer specific questions and to receive questions and feedback from the states. Our speaker will also provide guidance as to what states can do to move forward in the new healthcare framework.

Tomorrow, ALEC members have an opportunity to provide real input into the solution States need more freedom and flexibility to devise and execute their own health care programs. The flip side of freedom is competition—consumers and health care providers should be able to compete in an open marketplace to decrease cost and increase quality.

This call is YOUR opportunity to share what you are hearing from your District.

To RSVP, please complete the below form and a member of the ALEC team will provide you with instructions on how to participate in the call:
