State Legislator of the Month – PA Rep. Cris Dush

Thank you, Rep. Cris Dush

For the month of December, we are pleased to announce Pennsylvania Representative Cris Dush as the ALEC-FreedomWorks State Legislator of the Month. This award is given the those state legislators fighting the good fight for individual liberty and free enterprise in the states. The national stage cares deeply about local state stories where state legislators pass the solutions that everyday Americans deserve.

Shockingly, many young Americans are viewing socialism and communism more and more favorably. Representative Cris Dush, a member of the International Relations & Federalism Task Force, recently introduced and passed a bill in Pennsylvania to create an official day in Pennsylvania known as “the Victims of Communism Memorial Day.” November 7 is the day and it was set aside to commemorate the more than 100 million victims who perished under communist regimes.

Thank you, Representative Dush, for your efforts to educate Pennsylvanians on this important topic and for coming to ALEC to learn from and educate to your fellow state legislator.
