State Legislator Grove Says Tax Reform is Federal and State Issue

Seth Grove Urges Congress to Repeal the State and Local Tax Deduction

ALEC member and Pennsylvania State Representative, Seth Grove, joined ALEC Chief Economist, Jonathan Williams, as a panelist at the Heritage Foundations event: How Eliminating the State and Local Tax Deduction Would Lower Tax Rates and Curb Destructive Policies. The state and local tax (SALT) deduction forces taxpayers from low tax states to subsidize the irresponsible spending of high tax states. Earlier this month ALEC sent a letter to congress to repeal the SALT deduction signed by over 139 state legislatures including Representative Grove. Grove shared the thoughts of his constituents as well as his own concerns following the panel.
