AUDIO: Jonathan Williams Talks Rich States, Poor States with Financial Journalist Andy Busch

The latest Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer Economic Competitiveness Index revealed a national trend in favor of pro-growth reforms at the statehouse level. Jonathan Williams, co-author of the report and vice president of the ALEC Center for State Fiscal Reform, discussed the new findings on the Engage with Andy Busch radio program. Williams noted that states with taxpayer-friendly, market-oriented economic policies – like Texas and North Carolina – are increasingly winning both jobs and residents away from overtaxed, heavily regulated states like New York and Vermont.
