ALEC-FreedomWorks Legislator of the Week

Sen. Nathan Dahm represents the 33rd district as a 2nd term Whip in the Oklahoma Legislature. He is the Chair of the General Government committee, the Ranking Member of the Judiciary committee, and a member of the Rules, Business and Commerce, and Appropriations committees.

Sen. Dahm is one of the few home-school graduates to serve in the Senate. His family moved to Romania to serve as missionaries in 1994. Growing up in a family dedicated to serving others encouraged Sen. Dahm to develop a Bible school campus a few miles outside of Romania’s capital city, Bucharest. He continues his dedication to others as he travels throughout the US sharing the importance of Christian involvement in government and how to effectively pray for government leaders.

In addition to missionary work, Sen. Dahm created and runs his own app development company and helps manage the cleaning company his family owns. Sen. Dahm is dedicated to upholding the Constitution, limiting government, and serving the people during his time in the Senate.
