Biography

Jeff Lambert is the Vice President of Member Relations for American Legislative Exchange Council. Jeff believes the success of the American economy is due to its entrepreneurial spirit, individual initiative and innovation. To that end Jeff has worked for not-for-profit trade associations and non-profits to promote the small business owner and advance a heathy business climate.

Jeff oversees the membership and development department, direct fundraising, and state legislative recruitment operations for ALEC.

Prior to joining ALEC, Lambert was Senior Director, Chapter Development at Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) holding a wide range of responsibilities. Jeff managed the ABCs regional field manager program. Additionally, Jeff worked at the National Association of Home Builders and the Seniors Coalition in membership and grassroots organizing.

Jeff holds an Executive Certificate from Georgetown University in Nonprofit Management. In 2008 he obtained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification.

A former sous chef, Jeff enjoys making marinara fresh from his garden handpicked tomatoes, making fresh pesto and working on his Vespa Super 150.
