Housing Confirmation Information Online reservations will receive immediate email confirmation. Reservations received by fax or mail will be confirmed via email within 72 hours of receipt of deposit. Housing Cancellation/Refund Information Reservations NOT cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival will be charged one night’ room and tax. This includes any reservations that ALEC may have offered on a complimentary basis. By reserving in the block, you can save $50 off registration. However, if you later cancel your Westin reservation, your credit card will be charged (or you will be invoiced) an additional $50 for your registration fee. Complimentary registrations are exempt from this policy if they cancel. Early Departure Fee Early departure prior to the reserved checkout date will result in an early departure fee of 100% of the guest room rate for the one night’s room and tax. You can avoid this fee by advising hotel within 72 hours prior to arrival of any change in the scheduled length of stay.

Discount
Attendees who take advantage of our Early Bird registration specials are eligible to receive a $50 discount offer on their registration fee by reserving a room in the ALEC’s room block at the Westin Kierland Hotel before November 7, 2011.
Please note that there is only one $50 registration discount available per room. This offer does not apply to spouse/guest registration. Hotel reservations will be verified for those who receive the discounted rate. Attendees who receive a discount and later cancel their Westin room reservation will automatically be charged (or will be invoiced) for an additional $50 for registration fee after the meeting.
Spouse/Guest Registration
- Spouse / guest registration is meant to accommodate legal spouses and immediate family members.
- Attendees from the same organization must register independently. No exceptions will be made.
- Spouse / guest designation will be clearly visible on name badge.
Registration Confirmation Information
Online registrants will receive immediate email confirmation. If registering by form, confirmation will be emailed within 72 hours of receipt of payment.
Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy
Registrations cancelled prior to 5:00 pm Eastern November 7, 2011 are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Registrations are non-refundable after 5:00 pm Eastern November 7, 2011. All refund requests must be made in writing and sent via email to meetings@alec.org or fax to 202-331-1344. Registration fees may be transferred from one registrant to another.
