Governor signs bill pausing renewable-energy goals
In an update to Ohio’s renewable energy law extension, The Wichita Eagle
reports Governor Kasich signed a “freezing” bill, effectively putting a hold on government-mandated renewable energy requirements. ALEC is once again mentioned as a leader in the anti-government mandate effort.

The Guardian regards Governor Kasich’s signing of a bill freezing government-mandated energy requirements in Ohio as a great victory for ALEC.

reports Ohio will be the first state to implement legislation that puts a hold on renewable energy requirements. ALEC is regarded as a leader in the efforts to advocate free-energy markets of the states.
