Seth Cooper
Director, Telecommunications and Information Technology Task
Force
Seth Cooper is
the Telecommunications and Information Technology Task Force Director at
the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). His work in
telecom and tech issues embodies ALEC’s commitment of the
Jeffersonian principles of limited government, federalism, free markets,
and individual liberty.
Prior to his work
with ALEC, Seth worked in 2007 as a contract attorney in Washington
State. He also
served as a Caucus Staff Counsel in the Washington State Senate during
its 2007 Legislative Session. Seth obtained his juris doctorate
from Seattle University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in
political science from Pacific Lutheran University. Seth's work has been published in
numerous publications including the San Jose Mercury News, the
Iowa Des Moines Register and the American
Spectator.
